The Hobart PoWerMaster solid state frequency converters combine state-of-the-art technology and over 55 years of ground power experience to provide the highest quality power under the most demanding conditions. A wide range of outputs is available: from 45KVA to 180KVA. Some Models are available in horizontal, vertical or mobile mounting configurations, differing input AC voltages and optional 28.5VDC output.

For aircraft requiring regulated 28.5VDC only, Hobart has several models that provide precisely 28.5VDC. These solid state units are equipped for engine starting in the current limiting "soft start" mode which is recommended by most airframe manufacturers.
